B2: Creative Industry Response

the first thing i had to do for pre production was look into the client and what Sunderland culture was about, this taught me about different parts of sunderland's culture and helped me understand what the sunderland culture exhibition was, this didn't cause me any problems as it was just some research into the brief and what i was meant to be highlighting and showing the client in my final product the next thing i had to do was to come up with an idea for my project, i decided to use the brief to give me a bit more freedom and creativity with my ideas, i decided to come up with the idea to do a short horror film but set it in Sunderland and using local aspiring actors from Sunderland, the accents and the setting would really display that my project really was from Sunderland, this way i had the freedom to be able to write a horror short film and get more involved into the genre that made me first want to do media, this way i could make a horror like i've always wanted to s...

 My revised storyboard that follows the revised script, this storyboard follows the improved, shortened script, it is finished, more concise and displays what i'm wanting from each scene in my horror short, it fits the location better as well as following the page per minute rule that my script follows therefore they both share the same details for the cast and crew to follow to bring my vision for this project to life

 my script for my B2 project the script writing is crucial for planning and organisation as well as communication with the director, production crew and the actors as they have to communicate to be able to bring the script to life in the directors vision with the help of the actors abilities this script was revised to be more location and travel friendly as well as better fitting with the weather at the time of year that the filming was taking place, due to the poor weather, location, the time of filming had to be changed, due to the change of location, the story and the script had to be re-worked and re-written to be better fitting to the new location while keeping it in the same filming style as the found footage genre

 My original storyboard for my horror short film, like with my script i had to abandon the direction of this idea for the short film due to time constraints due to both weather and a deadline i have to follow, because of this the ideas that this storyboard follows was scrapped for a better, shorter and easier to follow direction that would be easy for both cast and crew, this reasoning is why the original concept storyboard is only partially finished
